Hey, I can be a sarcastic bitch at times, but I also like to poke fun at our Political Leaders. Hey, its better than watching my money go everywhere but into my pocket. Plus, well, it helps keep one sane, when you don’t take Politicians too seriously, now if only they can take a joke.
You can’t live in a fantasy world and pretend you make a ton of money, you won’t pay your bills that way. So how come our Federal Government can? I mean really, the typical average couple earn $120K yearly? I like to dream, but come on, even if I earned what my wife does, we wouldn’t even be close, so where can I get a job like Blake & Laurie?
Do the party logos reflect the Party, or the Leaders vision? These days the slicker the logo, the more leery I am of thinking that they can represent my views, my values. But are they all the same, does one Party have a bigger ego than the others? Do any of them inspire me to learn more about them, their policies?
It is a good slogan, one that I truly believe in too. The real question though, is can any political party deliver on such a promise? Tom Mulcair is attacking the ATM fees charged by banks, as a way to make life more affordable to the average person, but is that simply because it is […]
It is funny, kind of but I don’t know, while I know that the Conservatives seem to be selling us out, does making a political donation deserve to be treated as a joke? As a bargain?
Up until 2011 Canada Post made money. Now we are going to end home delivery because we are losing our shirts. So just what happened that saw a Corporation making profits for over a decade, become so unprofitable? Any clue Mr Economist, Prime Minister?
November 25 will be another test for the Opposition parties. Four byelections were called, two held by Liberals, two by Conservatives. Now the real question is, will the People actually get off their duffs, vote, and show their Canadian spirit by turfing the Conservatives? Will the Liberals gain or lose?
Who doesn’t want a bigger paycheque? I wouldn’t mind having more money but the reality is, giving me more money only helps increase the Federal coffers, through the high taxes being charged, for less services. Sorry Justin, but we need to start thinking outside the box. Rasing the minimum wage hasn’t improved our lot, nor has it helped spur business. Its only added to the cost of living. Think outside the box.
Not only did Tom Mulcair of the NDP not pick up any points in the latest polling data, but today’s Senate Amendment that gutted a bad piece of legislation from Parliament, only shows that abolishing the Senate is not in our best interests. While it has become a rarity, the Conservative majority didnt help them, as it was their own members who helped send this union bashing legislation back to Parliament.
